Junior Automation and Controls Specialist

Rosebel Gold Mines is seeking a Junior Automation and Controls Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Mill Department. As a Junior Automation and Controls Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Mill processes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist with the installation and configuration of automation and control systems in the Mill.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automation and control equipment.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation and control systems.
  
• Collaborate with the team to optimize Mill processes and improve efficiency.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or in an industry-related field of specialization.
• Experience with automation and control systems, preferably in a mining or industrial setting.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as PLC, HMI, and SCADA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English, Mandarin language is an asset.
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 14 days of work followed by 7 days break.
