Hose & Tool Room Storekeeper

Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Hose & Tool Room Storekeeper to join our Mine Maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating hydraulic hoses according to specifications and ensuring efficient management of the hose and tool room operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Fabricate hydraulic hoses using the crimping machine as per work orders.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of tools and materials.

• Operate the hose shop computer system and complete required documentation.

• Perform weekly Tool Crib Attendant checks and ensure all tools are properly used and maintained.

• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

• Identify and report safety and environmental hazards.

• Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Technical diploma in mechanical or electrical studies (LTS WTB, NATIN, AMTO or equivalent).

• Minimum of 2 years of mechanical experience or 1 year as Tool Crib Attendant

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic hose fabrication and tool room procedures.

• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.

• Ability to read and follow job plans and technical documentation.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English, Mandarin language is an asset.

• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 14 days of work followed by 7 days break.
