ICT Radio Shop Technician

Are you a skilled Radio Technician and looking for a new challenge? Rosebel Gold Mines is seeking a Radio Technician to join our Information Technology department. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing radio equipment used in our mining operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintain and repair radio equipment used in mining operations
• Troubleshoot radio equipment issues and provide solutions
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed
• Collaborate with other members of the IT department to ensure radio equipment is functioning properly

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Technical Secondary High School in Electronics or a related field, plus a Radio Technician course at a recognized radio school.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in radio communications.
• Experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of radio equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose radio communication issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 14 days on/ 7 days off.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Dutch and English.
