Junior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to join our Capital Projects department at Rosebel Gold Mines. As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design, construction, and maintenance of civil engineering projects within our mining operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist in the planning and design of civil engineering projects
• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and quality
• Prepare technical reports and documentation
• Support in the evaluation of project proposals and feasibility studies

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mining or construction
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with project management and construction processes is a plus
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 14 days of work followed by 7 days break.
