Junior Exploration Technician

We are seeking a Junior Exploration Technician to join our Regional Exploration Team at Rosebel Gold Mines. As a Junior Exploration Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our exploration activities and contributing to the discovery of new mineral resources.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the planning and execution of exploration programs
• Conducting fieldwork, including soil sampling, geological mapping, and core logging
• Operating and maintaining exploration equipment
• Collecting and managing geological data
• Supporting senior geologists and exploration geologists in various tasks.

The ideal candidate will have:

• NATIN (Mining, Surveying) diploma.
• Previous experience in field exploration or geological mapping preferred.
• Proficiency in GIS software and data analysis tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in remote locations and challenging environments.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
• Valid driver's license.
