Mill General Superintendent

Role Summary
Lead and coordinate mill maintenance activities across Mechanical, Electrical, and Planning teams to ensure safe, efficient, cost-effective maintenance and maximize plant availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of the Mill Maintenance Plan and ensure alignment across maintenance departments.

• Oversee maintenance planning, execution, asset management, and maintenance performance.

• Ensure critical assets have effective lifecycle and preventive maintenance plans.

• Monitor maintenance KPIs, system data, costs, and plant availability to drive performance.

• Manage maintenance budgets and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

• Ensure compliance with maintenance standards, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

• Lead, develop, and coordinate maintenance teams, ensuring adequate manpower, training, and resources.

• Drive continuous improvement and promote proactive maintenance practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field, or relevant technical qualification.

• Minimum 10 years of maintenance, engineering, or planning experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of maintenance management, asset management, and planning systems.

• Oracle eAM experience is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience working across multicultural teams and environments.
