Mill Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated Mill Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. in the Mill Maintenance department. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities of our mill equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

• Lead a team of maintenance technicians to execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability

• Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations

• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

• Uphold quality, safety, and housekeeping standards on all patterns.

• Provide clear operational instructions, participate in SLAM meetings, and share inspection feedback with the maintenance team.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Secondary High School diploma mechanical trade (NATIN/AMTO - werktuigbouwkunde) or relevant field.

• At least 10 years of work experience in maintenance, including 2 years in a supervisory role.

• A working knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations for Mines and Mining Plants.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• A valid Surinamese driver’s license.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English (Mandarin is an asset).

• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 14 days on-site followed by 7 days off at Rosebel Gold Mines in Brokopondo.
