Expeditor

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Procurement and Logistics department as an Expeditor. As an Expeditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies to support our operations at Rosebel Gold Mines N.V.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage communication between end-users, procurement, project teams, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of purchase orders.

• Lead the team in providing accurate and timely reports on operations and project status.

• Review expediting processes to identify and resolve potential fabrication or shipment issues, ensuring timely resolutions.

• Coordinate with suppliers and job sites to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely deliveries.

• Monitor purchases, track critical shipments, resolve issues, and prepare reports on supplier performance, including on-time shipment and quality metrics.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A High school diploma (VWO, IMEAO, HAVO).

• Minimal 3 years of experience in similar senior position;

• Experience with Oracle Purchasing Module or a similar integrated tool;

• Experience with Procurement of Goods and Services for Multinationals;

• General knowledge of computerized purchase order systems, Oracle or SAP ERP.

• Must be able to work in a fast paced work environment.

• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a multiple skill team.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives.

• Excellent verbal and writing skills in both Dutch and English.
