Project Supervisor

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Project Supervisor to join our team at Rosebel Gold Mines. As a Project Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our Capital Projects department, overseeing and managing various construction projects to ensure their successful completion within specified timelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to drive project success and contribute to the growth of our organization.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate project activities and ensure alignment among team members toward project goals
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and address any issues that may arise
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives
• Prepare project plans, timelines, and budgets to guide project execution
• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones and achievements
• Ensure projects are completed within budget constraints and adhere to quality standards
• Lead project meetings, facilitate discussions, and drive decision-making processes to keep projects on track

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School (NATIN) degree in civil or construction discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mining or construction
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in budgeting and cost control
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Proficiency in project management software
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 14 days of work followed by 7 days break.
