Senior Reliability Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Reliability Engineer to lead and strengthen the maintenance reliability function across the mill, crusher, and tailings operations. The role will drive the transition from reactive maintenance to preventive and predictive maintenance, improving equipment reliability, availability, and overall plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance reliability team and provide technical leadership on mechanical reliability matters.

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

• Analyze equipment failures, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and develop effective corrective and preventive actions.

• Provide technical support for troubleshooting, equipment condition assessment, and maintenance strategy development.

• Monitor equipment reliability, availability, downtime, and maintenance KPIs, and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Work closely with Operations, Maintenance Planning, Projects, HSE, equipment manufacturers, and service providers.

• Support asset life-cycle management, spare parts strategy, asset integrity, and repair/replace or redesign decisions.

• Participate in maintenance planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and reliability improvement projects.

• Lead and support Management of Change (MOC) activities related to maintenance and reliability.

• Mentor and develop local engineers, promoting knowledge and technical skills transfer.

• Ensure all reliability and maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with company HSE requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Professional engineering certification/designation is an advantage.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including experience in plant operations and maintenance.

• Previous experience in a mineral processing plant is required.

• Experience in a senior/team leadership role is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, fixed plant maintenance, reliability engineering, and maintenance strategies.

• Experience with RCA, predictive maintenance, asset reliability, maintenance planning, and KPI analysis.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

• Good knowledge of MS Office; MS Project is an advantage.

• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.

• Previous expatriate experience is an advantage.

• Good command of written and spoken English.
