Maintenance Junior planner

Rosebel Gold Mines is currently seeking a Junior Planner to join our Maintenance department.

As a Junior Planner, you will assist in the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment reliability and performance. You will support the Maintenance department by working with the Oracle eAM Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

This position plays a key role in maintaining the availability of critical mining assets through accurate planning and coordination of maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop weekly maintenance schedules using Oracle eAM, based on preventive maintenance and hour meter readings.

• Create and manage corrective work orders and requisitions for parts and supplies.

• Monitor and manage backlog work for assigned maintenance sections.

• Support the Senior and Intermediate Planners by providing updates and assisting with item creation and bill of materials.

• Maintain accurate records, including fuel consumption, hour meter readings, and daily shift reports.

• Promote and comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures on site.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A higher secondary technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance or mining operations.

• Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably Oracle eAM.

• Valid Suriname driver's license.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English is an asset.

• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 14 days of work followed by 7 days break.
