Temporary Junior Drill and Blast Engineer (3)

We are seeking three (3) Temporary Junior Drill & Blast Engineers to join our Mine Technical Services department at Rosebel Gold Mines for 1 year. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all drilling and blasting activities meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Participating in the collaborative design of drill and blast plans
• Inspecting and testing materials used in drilling and blasting operations
  
• Monitoring and evaluating drilling and blasting processes to ensure compliance with regulations
• Analyzing data and preparing reports on quality control findings
• Collaborating with the operations team to implement improvements in quality control procedures
• Conducting regular audits to identify areas for quality enhancement.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Geosciences or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 14 days of work followed by 7 days break.
