How we Hire
Our hiring process is short but thorough.
Apply
There are two options: you apply online through the careers page or submit your application at the Human Resources department on site.
HR intake by phone
If your resume matches any of the vacancies, a colleague from the recruitment team will call you so that we can get acquainted. This is also a chance for you to ask first questions about the role and company.
Manager's interview
In this meeting, your future Leader takes a deeper dive into your experience and what you could bring to the team. You can expect questions on how knowledgeable you are in the business or technology area. Depending on the position, there will be 1 or 2 interviews.
Contract discussion
You made it to the very last stage! If you are selected for the position, a colleague from the Talent Acquisition team will discuss the employment contract and benefits with you. We require all candidates that receive and accept employment offers to complete a background check before being hired.

Our People
At Rosebel Gold Mines, we offer you many opportunities: we are one of the largest private employers in Suriname and offer a wide range of career paths, with all the support and incentives you need to be your best. The company is one of South America's largest producing gold mines and includes the Rosebel and the Saramacca mining areas. The majority of our employees are Surinamese employees, including employees from the surrounding communities in district Brokopondo and Upper Saramacca area. Nine percent of our workforce are women and twenty-six percent are from the local communities in Brokopondo.
